Volunteer or Intern

Monocacy Farm provides opportunities for volunteers and interns to gain hands-on farming and gardening experience throughout each growing season. Flexible hours are scheduled Monday through Saturday each week April 15 through October 15. Every effort is made to provide volunteers and interns with exposure to as many facets of organic farming and gardening as their time permits. Work assignments are tailored to each individual’s areas of interest. Onsite workshops and demonstrations are provided periodically to augment technical learning.

Sponsor or Donate

Sponsorships and contributions help to cover the cost of weekly produce donations to low-income families, homeless shelters, food pantries, and soup kitchens. Donations of any size assist tremendously in providing services and support to underserved communities. Contributions may be forwarded to:

Pick Your Own

Our Pick-Your-Own program launched in 2019 provides local residents the option of picking their own organically-grown fruits and vegetables from early summer through October each year. Participation in this program requires a nominal annual membership fee. Membership is open to all interested individuals and families. Designated fields are open to Pick-Your-Own members during specified hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
